Adrian Hall is a massively talented mixer, Dolby Atmos mixer, engineer and producer. He has worked on a wide range of genres throughout his career, meaning he can turn his hand to a broad spectrum of projects. With his calm manner, passion and diligence, Adrian often strikes up a long-term and valuable rapport with his clients. Initially he trained at Metropolis Studios from 1997 until 2004, where he was a hugely respected member of the production team. Adrian works with worldwide household names but is also passionate about working with independent and up-and-coming unsigned artists. He is equally at home tracking a live band as he is mixing in his own studio. Adrian's studio is equipped with a full 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos speaker setup, certified by Dolby.
Some of Adrian's biggest successes include the likes of Tori Amos ("Ocean To Ocean" album) which Adrian mixed in both stereo and Dolby Atmos, Goldfrapp (the radio mix of the single "Thea"), Depeche Mode (the album "Live In Berlin"), Anna Calvi (the single "Piece By Piece", EP "Live from Burberry" and album "Live at Meltdown") and Alicia Keys(the album "Remixed", including remixes of her smash hits "No One" and "Like You'll Never See Me Again"). Other previous releases include projects for Cassia, Ruti, Stone Broken, Nova Twins, Amber Run, Annabel Allum, All Saints, Du Blonde and Plan B alongside legendary acts such as Sinead O'Connor, Erasure, Tiffany and Pet Shop Boys. Adrian also worked on the critically acclaimed Mercury Music Prize nominated album "Beloved One" by Lou Rhodes.
Alongside his album, single and radio mixes, a skill that sets Adrian apart from the pack is his hugely proficient live mixing. Adrian specialises in 5.1 sound and stereo, as well as Dolby Atmos. Over the years, he has mixed major live releases for Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams, Shakira and Youssou N'Dour. Adrian also mixed the incredible Philadelphia leg of the Live8 concert, which had a viewership of over one million people. The DVD features performances from legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Destiny's Child, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and more.
Most recently, Adrian has been mixing for the iconic Tori Amos on her latest album, "Ocean To Ocean", the critically acclaimed singer A.A. Williams on her albums "Forever Blue" and "Songs From Isolation" (Bella Union), singer-songwriter Lucy Rose's label signing Bess Atwell on the wonderful single "Co-Op" (Real Kind) and the stunning upcoming EP from Naomi Banks(Tenwest), including the single "Moving On".
