Karl 'K-Gee' Gordon is a writer, producer, mixer, DJ and artist
and is an exciting new addition to the Z Management roster. He
first hit the music scene as a DJ and member of Outlaw
Posse. His knowledge of music knows no boundaries, ranging
from hip-hop, dance, reggae, rock, pop and everything in-between.
His approach to songwriting, production and the development of new
artists has seen him work with Jessie J,
All Saints, Sugababes. Jamie
Cullum, Rod Stewart, Carl Thomas and
Glamma Kid. He is published by Reverb.
Recent projects consist of working with Little
Nikki on her debut album, including the single 'Intro
Intro' (Sony), Kieran Alleyne (Interscope),
Krishane, Jessica Agombar,
Jake Emlyn, Lemon, Max
Maxwell and more. For All Saints, he
co-produced their debut album, which peaked at #2
and was certified 5x Platinum in the UK. The album spawned three
singles that K-Gee co-wrote and produced, including 'I Know
Where It's At' and the #1s
'Bootie Call' and 'Under the
Bridge'. He also worked on the #1 album
'Saints & Sinners', including the hit
'All Hooked Up' and their third album
'Studio 1'. He is also a prolific remixer having
reworked songs for the likes of George Michael,
Gang Starr, Apollo 440, Alesha
Dixon, TQ, Natasha
Bedingfield, Gabrielle,
N.O.R.E., Pras and more.
K-Gee is also a prolific DJ, playing throughout Europe including
including Ibiza and Estonia. He has spun at spots including
Café De Paris, Elysium, Pangea, Skybar, Aura, Pop,
Clique, and Browns. K-Gee has also DJed
at parties for Mark Ronson, Busta Rhymes, Janet Jakson,
Usher and Snoop Dogg.
K-Gee is also an artist in his own right, having released a solo
single and album, 'Bounce To This' via Instant Karma. He is
currently working with Tom Berhane on his own artist project, an
urban outfit, fusing hip-hop, rock and dance, as yet untitled.
K-Gee is based in his own studio in Ladbroke Grove,
West London.
