cashybear (also known as Tim James Ross, formerly of alt/R&B electronic outfit Cash+David) is a young and talented producer, mixer, writer, orchestrator and engineer. As a member of Cash+David, he was signed to Columbia/Sony Records. The duo gained critical acclaim across the blogosphere, The Fader to The Guardian and continue to have a dedicated cult following. Their biggest success, "When You're Lonely" has reached over 5 million streams on Spotify alone. His work has accumulated over 40 million streams across all platforms.
As a classically trained pianist, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, cashybear cultivated his talent with a fully awarded scolarship studying composition and orchestration at the London College of Music. This training helped shape cashybear's strong sense of musicianship and song-focused productions, enabling him to harness and nurture the talent he works with. His creative and sensitive approach ensures a safe and open space for artists to feel at ease and therefore their ideas to be heard, develop and come to life.
cashybear's own musical tastes lie between pop, alt-pop to rap, drill and phonk. This leads to his own music having a fresh approach and unique edge. As a producer/mixer, cashybear has been working with a whole host of new talent for both major labels and renowned management companies. A selection of these include Sony artist SAPPHIRE (her current covers EP "Supalonely" / "Midnight Sky"), Oscar Welsh's track "Bleach Blinds" on LA label Human Re:Sources featuring SINDYSMAN and Chiderah from his "Aestival" EP and Yxng Dave's single "I Shoulda Known" (released by TOT label owned by KSI). cashy has also been producing and mixing for Songer (#1 on the hip hop charts, including the lead single "4:59" featuring D Double E) and Saint Joshua (whose recently was nominated for an AIM award). cashybear's reliability in delivering stand-out, relevant productions and mixes puts him at a tipping point.
Upcoming releases include Saibh Skelly (signed to Rubyworks), Songer (signed to ADA/Warner Music), Jamie Duffy (signed to Rubyworks) Vlera (SB Management), Phoenix Laoutaris (WeAreBlk) and Hare Squead.

Alongside his production/mixing skills, cashybear has written alongside a great number of stellar collaborators including Nina Nesbitt, Melanie Fontana, Chelcee Grimes, Jamie Hartman and Rhodes. He has also leant his skills to major brands such as YouTube, Philips, LEGO, The BRIT Awards (Warchild) and Disney.
Other credits include Jamie Lawson on his self-titled UK #1 album, including the single "Someone For Everyone" and subsequent release "Testify" (Warner/Gingerbread Man), pop duo ELM (signed to Sony) on their single "Golden", for which cashybear did additional production and mix, as well working with Asha Gold, Sarah De Warren, Gabriella Cilmi, Ben Kidson
